Some cats come to Forestclan bearing an unusual name that they refuse to change. Over time, the clan adapted to include many of these names in prefixes and suffixes, with meanings derived from the first cat to hold the name.

Non-Traditional Prefixes

Chocolate: brown, possibly tabby

Daffodil: ginger with white

Ezio: russet brown

Hill: brown tabby, possibly with white

Isidora: dark brown tabby with white

Koi: tortoiseshell with white or calico

Lev: high contrast ginger tabby

Mila: solid black-and-white

Nour: ruddy fawn

Ophelia: primarily white calico

Peach: light ginger

Scorch: red

Spark: ginger

Tumble: light ginger

Skilled Suffixes

claw: a superior fighter

fang: equally good fighter and hunter

foot: a superior runner

leaf: a superior healer

nose: a superior tracker

song: a good storyteller, historian, or lawkeeper

stream: a superior swimmer/fisher

tail: superior agility

toes: well-rounded and stealthy

whisker: a superior hunter

blossom: very good with apprentice-aged cats

cloud: consistently calm

fire: consistently excitable and passionate

flower: very good with kits

heart: consistently holds to a set of morals

step: acts like their prefix

storm: consistently changeable and emotional

wing: an excellent problem-solver
