Territory

Gold & Iron is located in a magical world that can be reached through magical portals. The village specifically is located between an ocean to the west and a mountain range to the east. Most of the territory ("Faerie Forest") is covered by deciduous trees although the area closer to the beach is mostly sand and oceanside vegetation. Near the middle of the territory is a lake and a river that comes down from the mountains. Due to the prevalence of willow trees along the river, Elizabeth named it "Willow Creek".

Landmarks

Spiky Beach: Spiky Beach is the name of the beach along the ocean, which is a 40 minute walk (15 minute flight or ride) away from the main village. It was named by Elizabeth for the prevalence of hard vegetation. Close to the ocean, the sand becomes extremely fine and keeps heat in well. To the north, the beach turns more rocky with tidepools, cliffs, and caves.

Willow Creek: Willow Creek is a river connecting the mountains to the lake. It was named by Elizabeth in part because of the prevalence of willow trees and in part as a homage to a city near her home. Water from here is always fresh and cold.

Gold & Iron considers its neighbors to be villages not bordering itself but have connections regardless.

The Thestral Society (Chamrosh) is connected through a magical door near Willow Creek.
